GCH TRF White River Howlin’ At The Stars, JH

 ‘Ozzy’ was a result of a calculated risk on 20 year old frozen semen to bring back old bloodlines that are no longer readily available.   Ozzy’s sire is a double Ch. Weinland’s Matinee Idol HOF grandson out of a littermate to Ch. Kingswood’s Maximillian, HOF.   Ozzy’s dam (a daughter of Ch. White River’s Ziggy Stardust, JH) is a modern blend of that old bloodline with positive contributions added from Huntabird and Lieblinghaus.   The result is a very eye pleasing silhouette of a dog with plenty of bone and ground covering movement.  His intensity and “love of life” makes him excel in whatever challenges are put before him. Ozzy has never met a stranger and has a strong desire to please everyone. Multiple GSPCA Hall of Fame Inductees and National Specialty winners can be found throughout his pedigree.

The first half of Ozzy's show career has been limited but with great success.  Ozzy was awarded Winners Dog, Award of Merit and Best Bred-By at the 2011 GSPCA National Specialty Show.  He finished his Bench Championship by going Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best Bred-By at the 2011 GSP of Wisconsin Specialty.  Ozzy finished his Grand Championship in 7 shows and is already a Sporting Group Winner.
At 7 months of age Ozzy finished his Junior Hunting Title in four straight outings.  Future plans will be to continue to progress his field work and try his hand in the Rally and Obedience ring.
