Ziggy is a very well balanced, moderate size, flashy marked dog.  From his very dark eyes down to his tight feet and everything in between his profile is pleasing to the eye.  His intensity and drive makes him excel in whatever challenges are put before him. That strong desire to please combined with his "never die" attitude gives him that "extra spark" that sets him apart from other dogs.  His effortless movement combined with a strong top line gives him the power to run in the field all day or float around the show ring. His pedigree is a well crafted blend of the strong Midwestern Serakraut and Huntabird lines with some of the best from the West (Weinland) and the East (Kingswood, Riverside).  Multiple GSPCA Hall of Fame Inductees can be found throughout his pedigree.

The first half of Ziggy's career has been mostly excelling in the show ring. Following in his father's and mother's footsteps as multiple Best In Specialty winners, Ziggy to date has won over 200 Best of Breed awards, 14 Best in Specialties, over 50 group placements and went Best in Show at the 2004 North American Show for Dual Titled Dogs held in Detroit, Michigan.  At the National level, Ziggy was awarded Award of Merit at the GSP Club of America 2005 Nationals, Best of Opposite Sex at the GSP Club of America 2004 Nationals and Award of Merit at the GSP Club of America 2003 Nationals.  For the last 3 years he has ranked as one of the top male GSPs in the country.  In 2004 Ziggy crossed the border to the north and finished his Canada CH title in 3 shows and went Best of Breed at the 2004 GSP Club of Canada National Specialty.

Off-spring from his first 5 litters are proving themselves in the field and in the show ring.  Several are specialty major pointed, sweepstakes winners and Hunt Test titled with raw natural backing, steadiness to flush, and retrieving to hand thrown in as a bonus. They are extremely out going with very willing to please attitudes and strong drive.  They are providing their owners with hours of enjoyment!!!!
